Layne joined the pack in August 2009. He absolutely loves his big brother Rio. Going to a new home was no problem with another Sammy there to help you feel at home! Layne is a happy go-lucky guy and can find fun in anything, even bath time! He loves to play fetch, help carry the mail, and chew on Rio. He's very energetic and loves to play play PLAY! Layne won 2 UKC Best Novice Puppy in Show awards as a 3 and 4 month old. He made his AKC debut in Cleveland, OH in Dec. '09. Layne has been awarded Reserve Winners Dog twice, to a 4 and 5 point major. He has two competition wins, out of three, for his UKC Champion title. On March 14, 2010 Layne wins Best of Breed and Group 1 in Kalamazoo under judge Kim Himes.
